Hewlett-Packard (HP), the topical owner of the mobile phone manufacturer Palm, wants to put on the market supposedly in the beginning of the next year new mobile phones with the Palm’s operating system WebOS 2.0. HP manager Eric Cador has said this.
Though more details with regard to the mobile phones were not informed, the statement is still a surprise. Since after the Palm’s takeover of HP one said, actually, that there will be in future no more Smartphones of Palm any more, because the mother’s group Hewlett-Packard wants to use the webOS 2.0 exclusively on his Tablets.
There are rumours to concrete devices also already. Therefore, immediately two new Palm-Smartphones with webOS 2.0 could come, under it also Palm Pre 2. As an other mobile phone Palm Mansion is under discussion. The mobile phone should be served in contrast to the Ur-Pre or Palm Pixi plus exclusively more than 480 x 800 pixels of dissolving touchscreen. An extendable or directly under the display right QWERTZ keyboard it is renounced with the Mansion.
